I first got this '66 beetle from the previous owner that lived in Phoenix, AZ.

I was fresh on to the Dub scene as this was my first Volkswagen. I knew what my vision was for this car because I came from a mini truckin background. So my goal was to drop off in the weeds. Within a month after getting this car it was re-sprayed an emerald green and white. The classic two tone look.

I got a fresh set of bags and some new wheels. I rolled it this way for awhile, picked up a few trophies along the way and then decided I needed to move on to the next one. So with this, I decided to go dark.. way dark! The outside got Kustom treatment with "House of Color" Organic Green Candy (KBC09.Q01). The front is dressed with Albert swans and Porsche front headlights. The rear has European tail lights and Euro blade bumpers. I had all trim and external accessories powder coated black. I took off the airbags and went with a 6 inch narrowed beam with 4.5 inch black steelies sporting KDF caps over disc brakes. The interior was treated to full custom green and grey tweed interior, while the pan was covered in green German square weave carpet custom made by Sewfine. Turning is accomplished with a billet banjo steering wheel that is also powder coated black. The dash, sports a mid 80's dealer option Volkswagen tape deck. Under the vert deck lid is a 1915cc single carb, electronic fuel pump and an A1 sidewinder exhaust. As the years go by, things have come and gone but the Flatliner continues to grow. Engine after engine, paint job after paint job, hell, even fire after fire, this daily driver has proven itself. And once you see it you might just Flatline! -Sixx
